Propello POS Import
What is this?
Margin Master reads your Propello data from the inventory export file you run in Propello: save that single .xlsx file into your import folder and choose Data > Import Propello Data (Ctrl+I). Price changes go back the same way, as a CSV you import in Propello.

How Import Works
- Set POS System Type to Propello on the Store Information tab.
- In Propello, run the full inventory export with all columns. A partial export, such as the Inventory Viewer screen export, does not carry enough columns and is rejected.
- Save that single
.xlsxfile into your Margin Master import folder. Keep only one Propello file there at a time. - Click Data > Import Propello Data (guide, section 2).
Tips
- Run the complete export: header matching needs the full column set. The most common cause of an empty screen after an import is the wrong Propello report.
- Ace Hardware and Do it Best: Propello supports both Ace Hardware and Do it Best vendor types; Margin Master applies the right handling for your vendor automatically.
